Inspired by the Ciate velvet manicure I went to the craftshop to find some velvet powder. I found a few shiny powders with wool fibers in it. Add a layer nailpolish and directly sprinkle a generous amount of powder on it. Spread it using a finger and then gently wipe the 'too much' off your fingers. The powder I used had no problem with water and isn't damaged after small bumps. You can use a nail polish remover to take it off, it just takes a bit longer. I also bought a less shiny white version, I'm going to use it soon.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love velvet nails. I love that you shared how to DIY because Ciate's velvet nails are really expensive. We also did a tutorial on this but a video. The silver is my favorite look in your pictures.
