Wildfox is Clueless
The Wildfox Couture lookbook for their spring summer 2013 collection. Of course we are all familiar with the amazing movie Clueless featuring Alicia Silverstone as the rich and spoiled teenager Cher. Wildfox has created a collection that has both the 90s grunge feeling and the preppy school girl style. I totally love this tribute collection dedicated to the West Coast teen lifestyle. I guess we all would love to have her closet, but hey, AS IF!!

Leopard and Wedges
Quilted denim: Thrifted | Leather gilet: Maison Scotch | Silk blouse: Thrifted | Trousers: HM Trend | Wedges: & Other Stories
What I was wearing yesterday. Finally took my new wedges out for a spin! Unfortunately they aren't really comfortable, but that probably has to do something with the cold weather. I almost froze my toes off since the temperatures still aren't springish.. You're probably wondering why I'm not wearing a wintercoat or any other cover-up if it's that cold. Well, we quickly went outside to shoot this look so I didn't really need a coat.

Shabbies wishlist
Shabbies Amsterdam wishlist. Love the whole collection that is available through both De Bijenkorf and Vimodos. As you guys know I'm the proud owner of several pairs of high shafted Shabbies, but seeing the heeled and shorter versions makes me want another pair. Shabbies is a Dutch brand that is part of the bigger brand Fred de la Bretonière. I love the sturdy leather and simple designs, they are also really comfortable due to the sole. Buy all Shabbies stated above at Vimodos. If you could pick one, which ones would it be?

Skincare
Followers know that I'm not really a person that has certain beauty rituals, but of course I do use a few products to keep my skin in good condition. Luckily my skin is very normal and I'm not often having problems with it. I do have a sensitive skin though, probably since the fathers side of my family is red haired. But when I don't use aggressive products, there isn't a lot I have to take care of. Every now and then I use the Nivea cleansing gel to make sure I don't get blackheads and uneven spots. Every night before going to bed I use Estée Lauder Advanced night repair and the Eye Repair. My favorite hand cream is from Kruidvat and I use Purol around ten times a day to keep my lips soft and hydrated. What do you do to take care of your skin?

Maison Scotch SS13
Maison Scotch SS '13 collection. Like every season I'm sharing my favorites of the Maison Scotch collection with you. I like the both edgy and bohemian vibe and the neon details of this collection. You can shop almost the whole collection at the Scotch & Soda webstore. How amazing are those striped shorts?! I like the slightly longer length of them. What do you think of the collection?

What are you looking at?
1&3 Yesterday I had lunch with two of my friends, we decided to go to The Bank in Doetinchem (a nearby city).
2. I gave my boyfriend a hipster haircut. Way better then the long wavy haircut he had the past years.
4. The goodiebag Stylight sent me, I've already been carrying the canvas bag with me in the past days.
And what I was wearing yesterday, I'm now off to have dinner with friends in Amsterdam,

Baby it's cold outside
Army jacket: Thrifted | Silk blouse: Thrifted | Skirt: Zara | Leather trousers: Goosecraft
Booties: Supertrash | Leather visor: &Other Stories
Yesterdays outfit. As you can see it obviously is spring ;) not! The weather is horrible, I'm getting a bit worried that spring will never show up. These photos are taken by my brother, since I was at parents place. Mart and I went to the inlands because of my other brothers birthday. He celebrated his twentieth birthday by ordering a lot of Chinese food, as you might have seen on my Instagram account.
What have you been doing lately?

Kenzo AW 13/14 Wishlist
Kenzo items from the last Fall Winter 13/14 collection. Love all these items, but I guess we have to wait till August till they hit the stores. Many of these items are made in a jacquard fabric with metal thread woven into it. We are all familiar with the eye print by now, many bloggers shared photos of the runway show. Those kimonolike jackets are great as well and the blouses with wide sleeves. A really beautiful printed collection in many rich fabrics!

Black cape ensemble with chunky heels
Brocade cape: Vintage | Jacket: Maison Scotch | Lace top: Thrifted | Scuba skirt: HM Trend | Shoes: Deena & Ozzy
Yesterdays outfit, like I already told you about. Maison Scotch jacket and scuba skirt, paired with my vintage brocade cape on top. Channeling my inner 90s kid with a pair block heeled sandals! I love those sandals since they are quite comfortable due to the platform. The upper of these sandals is a mix of suede and leather straps.

4. And a photo from my oxblood leather jacket!
I hope you had a good weekend, I dedicated mine to writing my thesis (which wasn't a lot of fun, but some things just have to be done). I'm now heading to the cinema to watch Side Effects.

New in: & Other Stories
Purchases from & Other Stories. Of course you all have read about the newest addition in the H&M family: & Other Stories. I already wrote about the fabulous new brand before and had a hard time waiting until the brand finally opened its shops. Last Thursday the moment finally was there, they opened their webstore. Because I already found myself drooling over all these gorgeous shoes when they released photos, I knew it was going to be though to make a selection. I ended up ordering a pair of black leather and suede wedges, a pair of violet blue leather sandals, a pair of black leather flats and a leather sunvisor. The quality of the items is beyond amazing and the leather is really sturdy! I hope the temperatures will rise soon so I can start wearing my new shoes! Did you already take a look at the webstore, or for the lucky ones maybe even visit a shop?

Sheer blonde go blonder
Although the insiders tip from John Frieda. A while ago I already showed you these products (and photos) and since a couple of weeks passed I can give you my opinion about them. You probably remember that I dip-died my hair, but because I used highlight powder my ends turned a bit yellowish. That's why I bought the John Frieda go Blonde conditioner, it promises turning your hair into a beautiful blonde shade. And I can tell you, it really works! Using this conditioner also made me realize that I still like light blonde hair (I've died my hair in a white blonde shade before). So I guess in a few weeks I will go blonder! What hair products do you use?

A walk in the park
Topcoat and lining: thrifted Burberry | Neon hoodie: Thrifted | Jeans: thrifted Levi's | Sneakers: All Stars | Scarf: Scotch & Soda | Hat: knitted by Mom
We went out for a two hour walk in park Sonsbeek and Zijpendaal in Arnhem. Because it was really cold again, we dressed up in thick windproof clothing. I know I look like a nomad but an outfit like this is perfect for such occasions and we don't have to dress up fancy everyday, do we? Btw I totally love the building in the background, it's my dream house and I try to go there as often as I can. To get familiar with my future land, haha just kidding ;)

What are you looking at?
1. Did something I haven't done for quite some time: drawing and painting. A few weeks ago I did tell you that I started drawing something, well that was the beginning of this Etro ss look. This week I continued with adding some color by using aquarell paint, find the result on my Instagram page (here).
2. I also went through my fabrics and got rid of the old ugly ones.
3. Put on some orange neon eyeliner and you are ready for the coming summer days!
4. Lovely architecture in Arnhem, the Musis Sacrum.
5. Celebrated my first blog birthday :)!!!
6. Got featured on a German streetstyle blog, find the whole article here.

Home Inspiration
Sources (in random order): Stockholm Vitt | Normann Copenhagen | Thunder in Our Hearts | Lily | Skovby | My Scandinavian Home
Here some inspiration for your home. All in cool and clean Scandinavian style; wooden furniture, white walls and edgy accessories that is. Love the printed cushions and rugs! The way Scandinavian people master the skill of combining vintage and new items is just beyond perfection. I adore those small kitchens with different cabinets and retro fridge. When looking at these photos I realize that our home can use some extra plants.
