Sunny Winter Weather

What I was wearing last Thursday. Love these cropped linen trousers, in fact I even bought a second pair because I was afraid that I would never find a replacement (+ they are very nicely priced). I paired them with my newest coat addition, a black one from COS that I bought in Aarhus. Enjoy your weekend, xx

Autumn Sun

Sorry for the lack of updates, I'm really busy lately! Doing two masters while also working parttime turns out to be rather time-consuming ;-) Plus blogging is getting harder because it is getting dark quite early nowadays which makes it hard to take photos. Luckily - after some rainy weeks - we've had some lovely sunny weather these past days so I managed to take some outfit photos for you. xx

Uggerby Strand

At the moment I'm in Sweden, but these photos were taken last week when we were staying close to Hirtshals to take the ferry to Norway. There was a beautiful beach called Uggerby Strand where we enjoyed the sunset and its beautiful pink and lilac hues. I can't wait to go back and stay a bit longer so I can explore the beautiful area. Have you ever been to North Jutland? xx

P.S. After taking dozens of photos I finally managed to capture the impressive sunset. I'm thinking of printing the first photo, frame it and hang it in our bedroom, what do you think?

Windy Århus

Since Århus is situated along the eastern coast and the city centre is directly facing the sea there is a lot of wind. We tried to take some outfit photos, but I have to admit it is quite hard when your hair is dancing around - and repeatedly in front of - your face. Well we did our best and this is the result ;-)

At the moment we are in Oslo where our hotel is located on top of the hill so we have an amazing view over the Oslofjord and the city centre. We just had breakfast and now we are changing into our sport outfit and going for a bootcamp at the Olympic ski jump: Holmenkollbakken.

Have you ever been in and around Oslo and have tips of what we should do or visit? xx

Awkward Length Jeans

By now you probably have seen plenty of these awkward length jeans, simply because they are the new cropped jeans. They've become just a tad bit shorter than your average cropped jeans and instead of a fringed hem [due to our diy chopping skills] they now are nicely finished.

The jeans I'm wearing are from Levi's and I like that it's a pair made out of a sturdy mediumweight 14 oz denim. Also if you don't have a pair of grey jeans, you should definitely buy one because they go nicely with almost everything. xx

When in Berlin

We took some outfit photos last thursday in Berlin. I was wearing my new Acne denim, a pair of black leather Clarks, a striped shirt and my favorite cropped leather jacket. The weather was surprisingly cold compared to the 30 something temperatures we had in Holland. What I love about Berlin is that there are so many nice locations to take outfit photos,  I decided to have the U-bahn in the background. xx

When in Brussels

On monday it was Kingsday here in Holland. Since I decided to not attend the festivities I opted it was best to go abroad. So we went to Brussels for the day. We didn't really have a schedule or so, we just wandered around a bit, enjoyed the sunny weather, ate a waffle, had some beers in a nice pub, visited nice stores and finished the day with dinner in the city.

For those that haven't been there yet, you should definitely go to the Grote Markt because you will be impressed by the amazing architecture with all the golden details on the buildings. If you want to have a nice dinner, please leave the Grote Markt and go to the Vismarkt (the fishmarket), there are plenty of cozy restaurants. The Sint-Katelijne church is worth a visit as well and if you go to the Zavelwijk (le Sablon area) you can buy some macarons at Ladurée and enjoy the old buildings.

For the Dutchies, how was your Kingsday? xx

Xmas Look

What I was wearing today on the First Day of Christmas. Yes I'm wearing lipstick!! (some of you might have seen that already on Instagram) I'm not a lipstick person at all, but hey for Christmas we all want to do something extra right?!

Hope you had a lovely day filled with joy, lots of food and quality time with friends and family! xx

Trenchcoat weather

An autumn look for you guys. It's definitely trenchcoat weather at the moment, so here an outfit post! It's getting more difficult to take outfit photos again because it's starting to get dark at five already. I now have to plan it on those rare times that we are both available during the afternoon.

I'm wearing a thick sturdy trenchcoat, my favorite oversized chambray shirt, vintage high waisted levi's jeans, patent leather booties and my trusty leather bag.
